A shikigami is an animal companion, typically a bird, that is summoned by an onmyouji. They are unique to the onmyouji, and sort of represents their personality and power. Typically, a shikigami is called to protect its master, which it will viciously. Seishirou's shikigami is a hawk, though some say it looks more like an eagle or a falcon. I say hawk because that was what Subaru called it in volume 2 of Tokyo Babylon. Shikigami's can also attack and spy on far off places.
